Various requirements have to be satisfied by both Workshops A and Workshops B, however, Workshops A must meet a broader set of requirements, including: 1) Must have a set of standard operating procedures in place for conversions; 2) Must have minimum quality standards in place for Conversion results; 3) Must have a recall mechanism in place, etc

This regulation establishes a set of rules on the implementation of the 1974 International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea and its various amendments ("SOLAS Convention") aboard ships that are flying the Indonesian state flag and/or foreign ships that are sailing through Indonesian territorial waters. Said rules are therefore important for shipping companies, business entities that are acting as ship owners and businesses that operate ships in Indonesian waters.

All BMKT transportation must be accompanied by members of the Special Police Force for the Management of Coastal Zones and Small Islands, as well as by State Officials who are appointed by the Director-General of Marine Spatial Management

The provision of SPKLU and BEV parking zones are addressed under Regulation 55/2019 on the Acceleration of the Battery-Powered Electric-Motor Vehicle for Road Transportation Program, while said parking zones are subject to fiscal (e.g. parking tariffs in areas determined by the relevant regional governments and/or reduced recharging fees at SPKLU) and non-fiscal incentives that are available to parties that utilize BEV (e.g. individuals, public transportation companies, Electric Motorcycle battery swap providers, BEV and/or BEV component manufacturers)

This new regulation also introduces various obligations that have to be met by relevant business actors. Furthermore, any acts of noncompliance with said obligations will result in business actors being subject to the imposition of various types of administrative sanctions, as set out under Regulation of the Minister of Transportation No. PM 34 of 2022 on Procedures for Supervision and the Imposition of Administrative Sanctions for Violations of Sailing Sector Laws and Regulations

Onboard Parties' luggage may take the form of carry-on or checked-in baggage, while the seven Items that have now been restricted in terms of permission to be carried aboard flights include the following: 1) Baggage containing installed lithium batteries; 2) Spare or loose lithium batteries, including power banks; 3) Electronic cigarettes; 4) Electroshock weapons; and 5) Portable electronic devices

BMKT salvaging should be carried out either on board ships or in warehouses in the following stages: 1) BMKT extractions; and 2) BMKT relocations. Both BMKT extractions and relocations must be documented and recorded during the relevant processes by their implementors. Said documentation and recordings should then subsequently be verified

Oil tankers operating with single-bottom constructions and/or single-hull constructions carrying oil cargos with deadweights of DWT 600 tons or more and that are at least 20 years old (as dated from their year of delivery) and oil tankers with single-bottom constructions and/or single-hull constructions flying foreign flags that will be replaced by flags with an age of not more than 20 years are required to implement the Condition Assessment Scheme in a dock by 1 December 2024 in order to achieve an operational deadline of 1 July 2026
