This regulation introduces mandatory use of Festronik by all transporters, producers, collectors, users, processors, and/or hoarders of B3 Waste.

This new regulation allows loading activities to be conducted outside of official customs areas under the following conditions: 1) Imported or exported goods are to be transhipped to customs territory or transhipped from customs territory through the use of interregional route transportation facilities operating out of customs areas; or 2) Imported or exported goods are to be transhipped through processes which involve their dismantling and loading to and from transportation facilities without their being subject to any period of storage.

In order to undertake any mining product-related export activities (i.e. involving metal and non-metal minerals, rocks and concentrates), relevant businesses are first required to obtain certain permits, specifically 1) IUP-OP; 2) IUPK-OP; 3) IUP-OP for processing/purification; 4) IUP-OP for shipping and sales (this IUP does not apply to exports of concentrates); or 5) (IUI).

Any consignment goods which are intended for personal use which have customs values amount to a maximum of USD 3 per Recipient and per consignment of goods, the following conditions apply: 1) Exempted from import duty; 2) Will be subject to PPN / PPnBM; and 3) Will be exempted from PPh. Under the previous legal framework, the maximum value was set at USD 75.

Any non-publicly listed insurance-related company whose level of foreign ownership already exceeds 80% of its paid-up capital is now required to directly undergo an initial public offering process in Indonesia if: a) The company in question is aiming to increase its level of paid-up capital; and b) No Indonesian legal entities and/or Indonesian Citizens are participating in the increase

The Amendment introduces fund provisions for central counter parties both domestically and abroad. The funding comprises clearing and non-clearing activities.

Supervisions through sea patrols aim to search for and uncover any violations of customs-and-excise provisions and is to be conducted through sea patrols, which encompass the following measures: 1) Halting and inspection of transportation facilities; 2) Inspections of goods, buildings or other places, of letters/documents which relate to goods, or of individuals; 3) Preventative measures in relation to goods and transportation facilities; and 4) Locking, sealing and attaching of security markings, which are required for goods as well as for transportation facilities
