Various types of corporate actions may result in criteria for monopolistic and/or unfair business competition practices (e.g. mergers, consolidations, acquisitions of shares and/or assets) being applied. In this regard, mandatory notifications of the following types of corporate actions must be provided: 1) Meeting of the asset and/or sales value threshold; 2) Changes of control; 3) Transactions that are not classified as transactions between affiliated business actors , etc.
Quick examinations of cases may be implemented by panels during preliminary proceedings, meaning that the advanced proceedings phase will not take place. In this regard, quick examinations may only take place in relation to the following matters: 1) Defendants that confess to having committed violations of Law No. 5 of 1999 on the Prohibition of Monopolistic and Unfair Business Competition Practices; and/or 2) Other suspected violations, based upon KPPU approvals or verdicts

Significant corporate activities of BUMN, as set out under this regulation, encompass the following: 1) Additional state equity participation; 2) Restructuring; 3) Mergers, consolidations, acquisitions, spinoffs, dissolutions and liquidations; 4) Privatization; 5) BUMN cooperation; 6) Procurement of BUMN goods and services; 7) Write-offs and transfers of fixed BUMN assets; and 8) BUMN hedging
This new regulation applies to children of dual citizenship ("Children") who fall into the following categories, among others: 1) Children born of legal marriages of parents with different citizenships (Indonesian and foreign); 2) Children born outside of marriage, who are acknowledged by their fathers (who are Indonesian citizens) as their children before said children turn 18 years of age; 3) Children born outside the territory of Indonesia whose parents are Indonesian citizens

Requests for Leniency must be submitted along with supporting data that takes the form of business entity financial reports that cover the previous three years and which address the following areas: 1) An analysis of the cashflow of the relevant company during the submission period, as well as a written statement affirming that the relevant companys cashflow will be disrupted by any obligation to pay a fine; 2) Cashflow plan, which should include a proposal that addresses the payment of the relevant fine in installments or during a certain timeframe; and 3) Written statement that sets out an analysis of a proposed fine payment method that is most suitable, in accordance with the financial abilities or business activities of the relevant company
