Govt. Prepares to Impose Sanctions for Telecommunication Networks/Telecommunication Services Organizer

The Director-General for the Organization of Post and Informatics Operations (“Director-General”) is currently preparing a new Draft Regulation on Technical Guidelines for the Implementation of Administrative Sanctions for Telecommunications Organization Violations and Violations of the Obligation to Submit Telecommunications Network Organization Reports (“Draft Regulation”).

When comes into force, the Draft Regulation will apply to organizers of telecommunications networks and organizers of telecommunications services (collectively referred to as “Organizers”) that fail to submit annual reports and mandatory development fulfillment reports on time to the Director-General. Such failures will result in the imposition of certain administrative sanctions.
