Updated Implementing Regulation on PLJP for BUK Introduced: SRBI and Fixed Assets Now Incorporated onto List of Collateral Eligible to Secure PLJP

In order to ensure that Regulation of Bank Indonesia (“BI”) No. 4 of 2023 on Short-Term Liquidity Loans (Pinjaman Likuiditas Jangka Pendek – “PLJP”) for Conventional Commercial Banks (Bank Umum Konvensional – “BUK”), as amended by Regulation of BI No. 10 of 2023 (collectively referred to as “Regulation 4/2023”)[1] is complemented by an adequate mechanism for the provision of PLJP, BI’s Board of Governors has decided to introduce a new implementing regulation to the aforementioned framework of Regulation 4/2023 through the issuance of Regulation No. 21 of 2023 (“Regulation 21/2023”), which has been in force since 28 December 2023.[2] Upon entering into force, Regulation 21/2023 simultaneously repealed and replaced the following legal frameworks:[3]
