Transition Period for the Trading of Equity Securities Through BEIs Special Monitoring Board Extended until 4 June 2024

In June 2023, PT Bursa Efek Indonesia (“BEI”) established the Periodic Call Auction (“PCA”) mechanism for companies that are listed on the stock exchange’s (“Exchange”) Special Monitoring Board (“Special Board”) through the issuance of Rule No. II-X (“Previous Rule II-X”) as the Appendix to Decree of the Board of Directors of BEI No. KEP-00082/BEI/05-2023 (“Decree 82/2023”).[1] Among the various aspects that were addressed under this framework, Decree 82/2023 set a transition period for the trading of equity securities (“Securities”) through the Special Board (“Transition Period”), which was applicable until a deadline of 1 December 2023.[2]
