BEI Amends Provisions on Reporting of Securities Transactions Through the PLTE System: Transition Period for Imposition of Corrections Extended until 30 September 2023

The Board of Directors of PT Bursa Efek Indonesia (“BEI”) has issued Decree No. Kep-00032/BEI/02-2023 on the Reporting of Securities Transactions via the System for the Receiving of Securities Transaction Reports (Penerima Laporan Transaksi Efek – “PLTE”) (“Decree 32/2023”), which has been in force since 28 February 2023.

Decree 32/2023 has been issued in order to take account of developments that relate to the PLTE system and its supporting facilities, specifically by making adjustments to the transition period for the imposition of the correction fee for single investor identity numbers.[1] As a consequence, Decree of the Board of Directors of BEI No. Kep-00040/BEI/07-2022 (“Decree 40/2022”), which was the previous legal framework to address these matters, has now been repealed and replaced.[2]
