Guidelines for Construction Safety Management Systems Redefined

As an implementation of the various provisions originally set out under Regulation of the Government No. 14 of 2021, which stands as an amendment to Regulation of the Government No. 22 of 2020 on the Implementing Regulation to Law No. 2 of 2017 on Construction Services (“Regulation 14/2021”),[1] Indonesia’s Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (“Minister”) has now issued a set of updated provisions that contain a set of Guidelines for Construction Safety Management Systems (Sistem Manajemen Keselamatan Konstruksi – “SMKK”) through the issuance of Regulation No. 10 of 2021 (“Regulation 10/2021”).
