Indonesia’s House of Representatives (Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat – “DPR”) has enacted Law No. 4 of 2026 on the Amendment to Law No. 4 of 2023 (“Law 4/2023”) on the Development and Strengthening of the Financial Sector (“Amendment”), which introduces extensive revisions across Indonesia’s financial sector regulatory framework that cover institutional governance, financial sector supervision, insurance resolution, digital financial assets, financial sector technology and financial system stability arrangements.^[1]
