Govt. Officially Imposes Five-Year Anti-Dumping Import Duty on Duplex Paperboard Products from Korea, Malaysia and Taiwan

The Minister of Finance (“Minister”) has issued Regulation No. 40 of 2026 on the Imposition of Anti-Dumping Import Duty (Bea Masuk Anti-Dumping – “BMAD”) on Imports of Duplex Paperboard Products from the Republic of Korea, Malaysia and Taiwan (“Regulation 40/2026”).

As its title suggests, Regulation 40/2026 officially establishes BMAD for multilayer duplex paperboard products that originate from the Republic of Korea, Malaysia and Taiwan.[1] In this regard, importers are required to submit Certificates of Analysis (“CoA”) that specify the brightness levels of their products, as said BMAD will serve as an additional levy on top of existing general or preferential import duties.[2]
