Green for Go and Red Flags: PROPER Program Participation to Reveal Environmental Compliance Ratings

Regulation of the Government No. 22 of 2021 on the Organization of Environmental Protection and Management (“Regulation 22/2021”)[1] addresses a wide array of matters that specifically relate to the authority of central government to provide guidance to business actors and/or activity managers (collectively referred to as “Business Actors”), particularly in relation to business licensing and government approvals. This guidance is being implemented through performance evaluations of Business Actors, as well as through the provision of incentives in the form of a corporate performance ratings program in environmental management.
