Consolidated Framework on Financial Services Sector Supporting Professionals Now in Force: More Professions, More Requirements

Following the enforcement of Law No. 4 of 2023 on the Development and Strengthening of the Financial Sector (“Law 4/2023”), the Financial Services Authority (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan – “OJK”) has introduced Regulation No. 5 of 2025 (“Regulation 5/2025”) on Supporting Professions Within the Financial Services Sector (“Supporting Professionals”), which is set to officially come into force on 3 March 2026.[1] Upon entering into force, Regulation 5/2025 will repeal and replace the following existing OJK frameworks (collectively referred to as “Previous Frameworks”):
