Financial Services Sector LSP Compliance Alert: Mandatory Adaptation to Updated SKKNI and KKNI Within Six Months

In an effort to strengthen the institutional framework and governance of Professional Certification Institutions (Lembaga Sertifikasi Profesi – “LSP”) that operate within the financial services sector,[1] the Financial Services Authority (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan – “OJK”) has issued Regulation No. 3 of 2025 on the Implementation of Professional Certification Institutions Within the Financial Services Sector (“Regulation 3/2025”), which came into effect on 20 February 2025. This new Regulation ultimately repeals and replaces Regulation of the OJK No. 11/POJK.02/2021 on the Implementation of Professional Certification Institutions Within the Financial Services Sector (“Regulation 11/2021”).[2]
