Machine and/or Equipment Restructuring Program for Food and Beverage Industries Regulated

Manufacturing & Industry

The Minister of Industry has issued Regulation No. 40 of 2024 on the Machine and/or Equipment Restructuring Program for Food and Beverage Industries (collectively referred to as the “Restructuring Program”), which has been in force since 24 September 2024.
The scope of arrangements set out under the Regulation encompasses the following matters: 1) Organization of the Restructuring Program; 2) The Restructuring Program Management Agency (Lembaga Pengelola Program Restrukturisasi/LPPR) and related technical team; 3) Monitoring and evaluations; 4) Reporting; and 5) Administrative sanctions.
Partial reimbursements of the purchase prices of machinery and/or equipment will be available at the following maximum rates: 1) 35% of the purchase prices of domestically produced machinery and/or equipment, as covered by valid certification stating that said machinery and/or equipment has a legally acknowledged domestic component level of at least 25%; 2) 25% of the purchase prices of domestically produced machinery and/or equipment; or 3) 15% of the purchase prices of machinery and/or equipment that is not produced domestically. Said partial reimbursements of up to a maximum of Rp. 1 billion per recipient per budgetary year are now available.
