Compensation Exemptions of up to 10 Years Available for TKA Employment in IKN Area

In 2023, the Indonesian Government introduced Regulation No. 27 of 2023 (“Regulation 27/2023”) on the Special Authority of the Capital City of Nusantara (Ibu Kota Nusantara – “IKN”), which stated that the IKN Authority (“Authority”) is authorized to administer business and non-business licenses within the IKN area.[1] In order to implement this mandate, the Head of the Authority has now issued Regulation No. 2 of 2024 on the Implementation of Licensing Services Within IKN Nusantara (“Regulation 2/2024”), which has been in force since 26 March 2024.[2]
