Application of DIPRO Set to Enhance Human Resource Competencies at Directorate-General of Sea Transportation

  • The Director-General of Sea Transportation at the Ministry of Transportation, Capt. Antoni Arif Priadi ("Director-General"), has affirmed that the application of Digital Profiling ("DIPRO") is one of a number of initiatives that are being introduced in an effort to profile both structural and non-structural employees in a systematic and integrated manner. In this regard, the Director-General has issued a statement affirming that DIPRO has been introduced in response to various submitted requests regarding annual assessments of over 1,000 employees. Currently, the available assessment capacity amounts to only 150 employees annually.
  • As the introduction of DIPRO is expected to resolve the above employee assessment issue and facilitate candidates looking to improve their soft skills during the assessment stage, DIPRO should now serve as a career development reference capable of meeting the organization’s needs.
  • Similarly, the Secretary of the Directorate-General of Sea Transportation at the Ministry of Transportation, Lollan Panjaitan, has expressed the hope that the application of DIPRO will ultimately be able to contribute to shaping employees of the Directorate-General of Sea Transportation into competent, professional and ethical potential leaders.
