BEI Adds New Banking-Themed Investment Index to Listed Company Information Displayed in JATS Remarks Column

In a bid to provide an additional banking-themed listed shares reference for use by investors, PT Bursa Efek Indonesia ("BEI") has officially launched the IDX-PEFINDO Prime Bank investment index, which will now be included in the listed company information displayed in the remarks column of the Jakarta Automated Trading System (JATS) through the issuance of Circular No. SE-00015/BEI/10-2023 ("Circular 15/2023"), which has been in force since 4 October 2023.
As the newest index listed under the BEI, information relating to shares that are included in the above-mentioned banking-themed index will now be displayed through the Indeks30 index using the Remarks 2 digits.
It should also be noted that information displayed through the Remarks 2 digits should relate to the following areas: 1) Listed companies (as displayed through digits 1 - 5); 2) Index members (as displayed through digits 6 - 14); 3) Classification of sectors, sub-sectors, industries and sub-industries of listed companies (as displayed through digits 15 - 18); and 4) Special notations (as displayed through digits 19 - 30).
