CPO Now Tradable Through Futures Exchanges

In a bid to establish the electronic trading of Crude Palm Oil (“CPO”), as facilitated and/or organized through CPO exchanges (“Physical Market”)[1] through futures exchanges (“Exchanges”), the Commodity Futures Trading Regulatory Agency (Badan Pengawas Perdagangan Berjangka Komoditi – “Bappebti”) has issued Regulation No. 7 of 2023 on Procedures for the Physical Market Trading of Crude Palm Oil Through Futures Exchanges (“Regulation 7/2023”), which has been in force since 15 September 2023.[2]
