More Parties Set to Become Eligible for Import-Duty Exemptions for Imports of Goods Used During Indirect Geothermal Utilizations on 23 December 2023

In an effort to accommodate government policies regarding the geothermal sector infrastructure financing funds and the enhanced development of the geothermal sector, the Minister of Finance (“MoF”) has issued Regulation No. 172/PMK.04/2022 on the Amendment to Regulation of the MoF No. 218/PMK.04/2019 (“Regulation 218/2019”)[1] on Import-Duty Exemptions and the Non-Collection of Import Tax for Goods Imported for the Organization of Geothermal Activities (“Amendment”).[2] In essence, the amended provisions stipulated under the Amendment address the following matters:
