Govt. Sets Types and Tariffs for Urgent PNBP Requirements for Halal Product Inspection Services at the Ministry of Trade

The Minister of Finance ("Minister") has issued Regulation No. 173/PMK.02/2022 on Types and Tariffs for Urgent Non-Tax State Revenue Requirements for Halal Product Inspection Services at the Ministry of Trade ("Regulation 173/2022").
Tariffs for urgent Non-Tax State Revenue (Pendapatan Negara Bukan Pajak – "PNBP") requirements at the Ministry of Trade ("Ministry") are sourced from revenue from halal product inspection services. Said tariffs should be set in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations on halal product inspection tariffs.
In line with certain considerations, the tariff for the aforementioned type of PNBP may be set as low as Rp. 0.00 (0%). Further provisions that address the amounts, requirements and procedures for the imposition of said tariffs are to be set in accordance with provisions contained under relevant laws and regulations.
Regulation 173/2022 comes into force on 23 December 2022.
