The Indonesian Government has finally issued Regulation of the President No. 112 of 2022 on the Acceleration of the Development of Renewable Energy for the Supply of Electrical Power (“Regulation 112/2022”) in an effort to increase investment, accelerate the realization of renewable energy mix targets in accordance with national energy policies and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.[1] Broadly speaking, Regulation 112/2022 encompasses a total of 42 articles that span seven chapters and that address the following matters:
