Level-1 PPKM Extended Within DKI Jakarta

In response to the issuance of Directive of the Minister of Home Affairs (“Minister”) No. 41 of 2022 (“Directive 41/2022”), the Governor of DKI Jakarta recently issued Decree No. 808 of 2022, which extends the enforcement of Level-1 Community Activity Restrictions in order to mitigate the effects of Coronavirus Disease 2019 within DKI Jakarta beyond the original deadline of 30 August 2022.
Broadly speaking, the activity restrictions that now apply across DKI Jakarta areas are similar to the restrictions that were originally set out under Directive 41/2022, as summarized in the following editions of Daily Updates: “Level-1 PPKM across Java – Bali Extended until 5 September 2022”.
Decree 808/2022 itself does not specify any deadline date in terms of its applicability, however, the similar restrictions originally set under Directive 41/2022 will remain applicable until 5 September 2022.
