BAPPEBTI Expands List of Tradable Crypto Assets Within the Physical Market for Crypto Assets: 383 Crypto Assets Now Tradable

The Commodity Futures Trading Regulatory Agency (Badan Pengawas Perdagangan Berjangka Komoditi – “BAPPEBTI”) has recently issued Regulation No. 11 of 2022 on the Determination of the List of Tradable Crypto Assets Within the Physical Market for Crypto Assets (“Regulation 11/2022”). BAPPEBTI is increasingly aware of the need to accommodate the demands of crypto-asset traders and the need to develop Indonesia’s crypto-asset industry. This need has been corroborated by data on crypto-asset customer growth and transaction volume within Indonesia. In line with this growing financial sector, the number of types of crypto assets that can be traded through the market has now been increased.[1]
