After being harmonized by the Legislative Council at Indonesia’s House of Representatives,[1] the most recent version of the Draft Bill on New Energy and Renewable Energy, dated 30 May 2022 (“2022 Draft Bill”), has been officially proposed by the House of Representatives and will now be further discussed and hopefully passed into law.[2] The target is to pass the 2022 Draft Bill before the G20 Heads of State and Government Summit is held in November 2022.[3]
