MK Partly Grants Judicial Review of Mineral and Coal Mining Law in Relation to the Granting of KK and PKP2KB Extensions

The Constitutional Court (Mahkamah Konstitusi – “MK”) recently rendered Decision No. 64/PUU-XVIII/2020 (“Decision 64/2020”) in relation to a petition for judicial review which was originally filed by Helvis (“Petitioner I”), Muhammad Kholid Syeirazi (“Petitioner II”) and Forum Kajian Hukum dan Konstitusi (“Petitioner III”) (collectively referred to as “Petitioners”) on 20 July 2020.[1]
