Govt. Updates Import Provisions for Footwear, Electronic Equipment, Bicycles and Tricycles

In a bid to accelerate the flow of goods, provide greater business certainty, accelerate business licensing services and increase the effectiveness of the implementation of import policies for footwear, electronic equipment, bicycles and tricycles,[1] the Minister of Trade (“Minister”) has issued Regulation No. 68 of 2020 on Import Provisions for Footwear, Electronic Equipment, Bicycles and Tricycles (“Regulation 68/2020”), which simultaneously replaces and repeals the following legal frameworks that previously addressed similar matters:[2]
