Govt. to Assist Real-Sector Businesses through Placements of State Funds in Commercial Banks

As specifically addressed under Regulation of the Government No. 23 of 2020 (“Regulation 23/2020”),[1] the government has now introduced a number of measures which are being aimed squarely at creating a strong national economic recovery. One of these measures involves the placement of funds in banks which are carrying out any debt restructuring and/or providing additional working capital credits/financing facilities to any debtors which are classified as micro-, small- or medium-scale enterprises or cooperatives.[2]
