New Provisions Introduced for the National Economy Recovery Program for the Mitigation of the Economic Impacts of the COVID-19 Pandemic

Regulation of the Government No. 23 of 2020 on the Implementation of a National Economic Recovery Program in Order to Support State Financial Policies for the Mitigation of the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) Pandemic and/or to Deal With Threats That Are Potentially Harmful to the National Economy and/or Stability of the Financial System as Well as to Save the National Economy (“Regulation 23/2020”)[1] was recently issued and sets out further provisions that specifically address the National Economic Recovery (Pemulihan Ekonomi Nasional – “PEN”) program, as mandated under Article 11 (7) of Regulation of the Government in the Lieu of Law No. 1 of 2020[2] on State Financial and Stability of the Financial System Policies for the Mitigation of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) Pandemic and/or to Deal With Threats That Are Potentially Harmful to the National Economy and/or Stability of the Financial System.[3]
