Overview

On behalf of the Indonesian Government, the Coordinating Minister of Economic Affairs, Mr. Airlangga Hartarto, submitted the official Draft Bill on Job Creation (“Draft Bill”) to the House of Representatives (“House”) on 12 February 2020.[1] Classified as an omnibus law, the Draft Bill aims to provide a set of comprehensive and strategic policies and measures that are being aimed at the creation of more job opportunities for the Indonesian labor force and will hopefully establish improved welfare for the Indonesian population in general.[2]
