Regulation of the Minister of Environment and Forestry No. P.16/MENLHK/SETJEN/KUM.1/4/2019 on Second Amendment to Regulation of the Minister of Environment and Forestry No. 5 of 2014 on Wastewater Quality Standards

Businesses in textiles industry which have been operating and generating wastewater in a volume of more than 100m3 /day are now required to comply with: 1) wastewater quality standards (“Quality Standards”) for Chemical Oxygen Demand and Biological Oxygen Demand parameters, in no later than 16 April 2020; and 2) Quality Standards for Total Suspended Solid (“TSS”) parameter, in no later than 16 October 2019; and 3) Quality Standards for color parameter, in no later than 16 July 2019.
Textiles industry must comply to Quality Standards set out under Appendices I and II to Regulation of the Minister of Environment and Forestry No. P.16/MENLHK/SETJEN/KUM.1/4/2019 on Second Amendment to Regulation of the Minister of Environment and Forestry No. 5 of 2014 on Wastewater Quality Standards.
