In midst of a rising trend in anti-Pancasila oriented mass organizations, the government is now attempting to attenuate this controversial issue through the issuance of Government Regulation in Lieu of Law No. 2 of 2017 on the Amendment to Law No. 17 of 2013 (“Mass-Organization Law”) on Mass Organizations (“Perppu 2/2017”).
