House-Financing Facilities under BPJS for Labor

The Ministry of Employment (“Ministry”) has recently issued Regulation No. 35 of 2016 on Procedures for the Granting of, Requirements, and Types of Additional Facilities under the Old-Age Benefits Program (“Regulation 35/2016”).
 
In essence, Regulation 35/2016 implements Article 25 (3) of Government Regulation No. 46 of 2015 on the Old-Age Benefit Program,[1]  which set out further guidelines for Social Security Agency for Labor (Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Sosisal Ketenagakerjaan – “BPJS for Labor”) in providing additional facilities for its participants.[2] These guidelines encompass the following areas:
