License for Radio Frequency Spectrum Utilization

The Minister of Communication and Information Technology (“Minister”) has issued Regulation No. 4 of 2015 on Operational Provisions and Licensing Procedures for the Utilization of Radio Frequency Spectrum (“Regulation”).

Prior to the Regulation, the same matter was regulated under Minister Regulation No. 17/PER/M.KOMINFO/10/2005 (“2005 Regulation”).

The Regulation establishes guidelines for businesses that wish to obtain a license to use available radio frequency spectrum. The Regulation is of relevance to telecommunication companies and broadcasting companies.
