The Agrarian National Program (PRONA)

The Minister of Agrarian Affairs/Head of National Land Agency (“Minister”) has issued Regulation No. 1 of 2015 on The Agrarian National Program (“Regulation”) which sets out provisions on land registration/certification referred to as the Program Nasional Agraria (PRONA).

Under the PRONA framework, the registration and certification of land is to be conducted simultaneously throughout all villages (desa or kelurahan) in Indonesia. The Regulation sets out provisions for this process and is targeted at all unregistered land owned and/or occupied by Indonesian citizens.[1]
