2015 Jakarta Minimum Wage

The Governor of Jakarta (“Governor”) has determined the 2015 Provincial Minimum Wage in Jakarta by issuing Regulation No. 176 of 2014 on Provincial Minimum Wage (“2014 Regulation”).

The 2014 Regulation sets the Minimum Wage in Jakarta at IDR 2,700,000 per month, a 10 percent increase (IDR 259,000) from the Minimum Wage in 2014 that was set at IDR 2,441,000.[1] This minimum wages applies to all workers in Jakarta unless a specified minimum wage for a certain sector otherwise applies or the worker is contracted for less than a year by their employer.[2]
