New Tin Export Provisions

The Minister of Trade has issued Regulation No. 44/M-DAG/PER/7/2014 on Export Provisions for Tin (“Regulation”), redefining the export procedures for tin with the aim of bettering the business climate for the tin sector, and to increase the added value and competitiveness of tin originating from Indonesia.[1]

The Regulation is a guideline for those intending to export tin which includes parties to a contract of work (Kontrak Karya – “KK”), holders of an industry business license (izin usaha industri – “IUI”) as well as the following mining license holders:
