President Regulates Prioritized Infrastructure Construction

Presidential Regulation No. 75 of 2014 on Accelerated Construction of Prioritized Infrastructure (“Regulation”) has been issued with the aim of providing effective, efficient, and on target guidelines for conceptualizing the construction of prioritized infrastructure.    

The Regulation serves to provide a regulatory framework for accelerating the processes for, and resolving issues relating to, the construction of priority infrastructure projects.[1]

The Regulation is of relevance to various stakeholders including Ministers, heads of government institutions, regional heads, and chairpersons of state and regional government-owned enterprises, as well as private enterprises.
