Procedures to Appoint Parking Facility Organizers in Jakarta

The Governor of the Jakarta Special Capital Region (“Governor”) has issued Regulation No. 72 of 2014 on Cooperation for Organizing Parking Facilities (“2014 Regulation”).

The 2014 Regulation provides technical guidelines for businesses in entering cooperation contracts with the Jakarta regional government (“Regional Government”) to organize parking facilities in Jakarta. More specifically, the 2014 Regulation sets out the process for appointing parking facility organizers, as well as content for cooperation arrangements including the types of contracts that may be entered.
