Requirements for Construction Specialists

The Minister of Public Works (“Minister”) has issued Regulation No. 09/PRT/M/2013 on Competency Requirements for Sub-Qualifications of Experts and Skilled Workers in the Construction Service Section (“Regulation”).

The Regulation implements Article 8C (6) of the Government Regulation No. 04 of 2010 on Amendment to Government Regulation No. 28 of 2000 on Business and Public Participation in the Construction Business. This Article requires the Minister to prescribe the competency requirements for qualifications that must be held by experts and skilled workers who provide construction services (“Construction Specialists”).
