Manpower Monitoring Committee

The Minister of Manpower and Transmigration (Minister) recently issued Regulation No. 10 of 2010 on Manpower Monitoring Committee (“Regulation”), to implement Presidential Regulation No. 21 of 2010 on Manpower Monitoring (“Perpres No. 21/2010”).

"Manpower Monitoring Committee" (Committee) is defined in Article 1 (3) juncto Article 2 as a non-structural institution consisting of the government element, employer organizations, trade unions / labor unions, and other stakeholders that strengthens the Government’s manpower monitoring activities without interfering with the independence of manpower inspectors in the enforcement of manpower legislation.

The Committee is separate from the Working Units of Manpower Monitoring (“Working Units”) established under Perpres No. 21/2010.
