Sectoral Minimum Wages in Jakarta

Special Jakarta Area Governor Regulation No. 13 of 2012 on 2012 Provincial Minimum Wages (“Regulation”) was issued to adjust minimum wages to current labor and economic conditions.

The Regulation establishes the provincial minimum wage for the sectors listed in Article 1, including:

a.	Construction and public works;
b.	Chemical, energy, and mining;
c.	Metals, electronics, and machinery;
d.	Automotive;
e.	Insurance and banking;
f.	Food and beverages;
g.	Pharmaceutical and health;
h.	Textiles, clothing, and leather;
i.	Tourism; and
j.	Telecommunications.
