Indonesia Updates Mandatory SNI Requirements for Tires

The Ministry of Industry has published Regulation No. 24 of 2026 on the Amendment (“Regulation 24/2026”) to the Regulation of the Minister of Industry No. 9 of 2025 on the Mandatory Implementation of the Indonesian National Standard for Tires (“Regulation 9/2025”).

The Ministry of Industry has updated the mandatory Indonesian National Standard (“SNI”) framework for tires through Regulation 24/2026, which amends Regulation 9/2025. Regulation 9/2025 requires businesses producing, importing, and/or distributing covered tires in Indonesia to comply with mandatory SNI requirements.
