Towards the end of 2025, the Central Statistics Agency (Badan Pusat Statistik – “BPS”) issued the 2025 Standard Classification of Indonesian Business Fields (Klasifikasi Baku Lapangan Usaha Indonesia – “KBLI”) through Regulation No. 7 of 2025 (“Regulation 7/2025”), which came into effect on 18 December 2025. The issuance of KBLI 2025 was intended to ensure that Indonesia’s business activity classification system remains in line with the most recent developments in the national economy, while also keeping in synchronization with the release of the International Standard Industrial Classification (“ISIC”) of All Economic Activities, Revision 5.[1]
