Private Sector Empowered: Sustainability Action Plans Mandate Direct Business Integration for 2030 Targets

Regulation of the President No. 111 of 2022 (“Regulation 111/2022”) on Implementation of Sustainable Development Goals (Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan - “TPB”) sets the legal foundation for Indonesia in achieving its 2024 national TPB targets by establishing National TPB Roadmap, as well as TPB National Action Plans (Rencana Aksi Nasional - “RAN”) and Regional Action Plans (Rencana Aksi Daerah - “RAD”) for the target achievement implementation basis. Indonesia further sets its TPB target achievement planning, coordination, monitoring, evaluation and reporting procedures through Regulation of the Minister of National Development Planning/Head of the National Development Planning Agency (“Minister”) No. 1 of 2024 (“Regulation 1/2024”).[1]
