Overview
Demand for package delivery services within Indonesia has grown significantly in line with the rapid expansion in electronic commerce activities that the country has seen in recent years. In this regard, not only major marketplace platforms but also small- and medium-scale enterprises (SME) have become increasingly reliant on logistics and delivery services in order to distribute their products to consumers on a daily basis.[1] Beyond the retail sector, industries such as agriculture and fisheries are also becoming ever more dependent on delivery networks that are capable of ensuring that their harvested and caught products are able to reach markets quickly while maintaining their overall quality and freshness.[2]
