Overview
In September 2025, Indonesia’s House of Representatives (Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat – “DPR”) approved the Second Amendment to the 2025 Priority National Legislation Program (Program Legislasi Nasional – “Prolegnas”) and finalized its list of legislative priorities for 2026.[1] Following this revision, the number of draft bills listed under the 2025 Priority Prolegnas was increased from 41 to 52. Meanwhile, the more medium-term 2025 - 2029 Prolegnas now encompasses 198 draft bills, an increase from the previous figure of 176, with 67 of these being designated as priorities for completion during 2026.[2]
