Overview

Continuing from the first part of this two-part edition of Indonesian Law Digest (“ILD”) on Regulation of the Government No. 40 of 2025 (“Regulation 40/2025”) on the National Energy Policy (Kebijakan Energi Nasional – “KEN”), which addressed a wide array of strategic targets and general directions, as embedded in the foundational policies of the new 2025 KEN, this second and final part offers a deeper dive into the various supporting policies that underpin and give operational effect to the foundational policies discussed previously. Moreover, this second part also examines the various practical measures that should ensure that these commitments are implemented in a structured and coherent manner.
