Professional Pathway for Intellectual Property Appraisers Introduced: Registration Process, Professional Duties and Dismissal Criteria Outlined

In 2022, the government officially unveiled Regulation of the Government No. 24 of 2022 (“Regulation 24/2022”)[1] as an implementing regulation to Law No. 24 of 2019 on Creative Economy. Broadly speaking, Regulation 24/2022 addressed a wide range of matters relating to government efforts to facilitate Intellectual Property (“IP”) based financing (“IP-Based Financing”)[2] schemes for use by creative economy actors through banks and non-bank financial institutions (collectively referred to as “Financial Institutions”).[3]
