Attention Importers and Exporters: E-Seals Now Mandatory During Goods Transportation

With the ultimate goal of improving the overall efficiency and effectiveness of all services and monitoring related to the transportation of imported and/or exported goods, as well as to facilitate green customs and logistics processing,  the Director-General of Customs and Excise has now issued Decree No. KEP-97/BC/2025 (“Decree 97/2025”) on the Implementation of Electronic Seals (“E-Seals”) for the Transportation of Imported and/or Exported Goods, which has been in force since 23 May 2025.[1]
