You Have 48 Hours, Dont Delay: Late Submission of Occupational Accident or Illness Reports Now Shifts JKK Benefit Responsibility to Employers!

In 2021, the Minister of Manpower (“Minister”) introduced  Regulation (“Regulation 5/2021”) No. 5 of 2021 on Procedures for the Organization of the Work-Accident Insurance (Jaminan Kecelakaan Kerja – “JKK”), Life Insurance (Jaminan Kematian – “JKM”) and Old-Age Benefit (Jaminan Hari Tua – “JHT”) Programs. As its title indicates, Regulation 5/2021 established a set of guidelines for the registration, reporting and determination of JKK, JKM and JHT (collectively referred to as “Insurance Programs”) memberships.
